Since I have to fast for my glucose test tomorrow am I still allowed to drink water?

At Kaiser they told me Only tiny Sips & Only if i had too

I did my 3 HR glucose today and had to fast the night before for 8 hours and they told me water is fine and while I was there waiting I was drinking water still

I was allowed water at the 1hr and 3hr test both.

Not at first but after they took my first blood drawn I was able to drink some water

I had no problems. I drank water the whole time.
