i thought i would update you all on whats happened, my waters went lastnight while me and OH were doing 'the deed' it was defo my waters as it was clear but not only that i felt huge pressure before it and then i felt a pop and there was water everywhere, i left it over night and started having back ache and this morning i tried to get hold of my MW and couldnt get through to her as shes never given me her mobile and she wasnt at the hospital do i phoned DAU at hospital just to get some advice , they told me to come in ASAP as cause it was my waters the longer you leave it the more chance of infection and she asked if i was having contractions i said yeah but not painful ones so she said if i also dont go into full labour by tonight they will induce me so ok i got all my bags and went, when i got there it was a diff MW to who i spoke with on the phone and she dome all the tests etc and told me it was basically my waters that had gone and i am contracting but not steady ones and told me theres nothing else she could do and sent me home, i havent stopped crying all afternoon because im terrified baby will get an infection😢😢

i did go back, i left the hospital when she sent me home and when i went back she told me theres no point in coming back until something happens, they dont care if baby gets an infection really😢 xx @winterbaby95

Once u hit 24 hours then baby is at risk and so r you id ask to see a diff mw tbh x

Once you're waters have broken they give it around 24 hours and then they have to admit you, like @safiamammy1 said, as you're at higher risk of infection. Would definitely try calling though and speak to someone about it

I would deffo get there and refuse to go its bloody stupid it really is or ask to speak to a diff mw xx

i have phoned 3 different hospitals and theyre all disgusted with how i was treated and said i should of been kept in and induced if labour hasnt properly started like now, i phoned my hospital back and basically after telling them everything they said to go back in, im making a massive complaint about this xx

im hoping they do something as im fed up now, my baby has a problem with his kidney already and if he gets an infection they will be sorry xx @cupcake107

You have to go back, I had fever few hours after they broke my waters and had an emergency c section because of that, and me and my baby we were under antibiotics, it was horrible. you and your baby will be fine but u have to wreck their head.
