Genetically brown eyes are a stronger gene than lighter/colored eyes. It is not impossible but there are smaller chances genetically.

Yea!! See if her or her SO have colored eyes in their genes (in their blood line) it is possible for their baby to come out with colored eyes it just has lower odds. I have hazel/blue eyes-light translucent white (haha) skin-light strawberry blonde hair and and my husband is half Mexican so he has darker skin-dark hair- brown eyes. Our baby will only be a quarter Mexican but he has big chances of coming out looking straight up Mexican because all that brown is a strong gene. lol people are going to question if my baby is actually mine 😂😂

it depends on which genetics run dominant and recessive. my mother has blond hair and half of us kids do, my sister is a dark brunette but the blonde genetic is must be dominant BC her son has blond hair like my mother. so it really depends. same goes with facial features we all look like our mom but 3/4 of us have our fathers nose. so if you carry the blue eyed gene and its dominant than your baby has that possibility, unfortunately brown eyes seem to be dominant in most families

sometimes if the blue eyed gene is recessive in both parents the child will have blues eyes, that occurance is a slim chance but not impossible. now if that child has a kid with a dominant brown eyed partner their kids will more than likely be browned eyed even with a parent with blue eyes. there is now way to know for sure

You can look at the eye color chart to see the chances of each. Hazel eyes throws a big IF into everything though!
