Morning munmies/ mummies to be. I've just over 2 weeks until I'm due and have just come across an article about Birth Control after giving birth. I can honestly say I haven't really given this much thought during my pregnancy but now feel I should. I had a bad experience with the "Pill" tried several types and all had bad side affects for me, not to mention making me feel really depressed, I decided to come off the pill about 4 years ago now and my husband and I just used the "withdrawal" method which actually worked until we decided we wanted to start our family. I'm now really unsure what to do once baby is here for birth control. I'm really not wanting to be taking anything artifical, I think the natural hormone changes will be hard enough without adding more into the mix. What is everyone else thinking/ using for Birth Control?
I had the coil before i was pregnant and i preferred the copper one as it had no hormones in it and any other contraception made me into the devil woman lol. I have heard alot of stories about it been painful and not workin out for alot of people but i had no problem with it what so ever xx
The copper one I'd stay away from as it causes heavy bleeding and most end up getting it taken back out but the mirena is good. No need to worry for 5 years unless u have it removed and u can have it placed at your 6 week check often. Mine was a much less painful insertion after my baby than when I waited years later to have another one in
thanks @suzie80 yes will be avoiding withdrawal lol will have a read up on the coil too ☺ thank you x
The mirena coil is good. I'd stay away from withdrawal after birth as the first year your super fertile after giving birth :)
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
