Breastival kicks off World Breastfeeding Week
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Nutrition Services branch, the Colorado Breastfeeding Coalition and the Mother’s Milk Bank will host Colorado’s first Breastival on July 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ruby Hill Park in Denver. The Breastival is a free event for Colorado families to support breastfeeding and kick off World Breastfeeding Week, Aug. 1-7. There will be more than 30 vendors, food trucks, activities for all ages, a stroll for Mothers' Milk Bank and more! World Breastfeeding Week’s theme this year, specific for Colorado, is “Breastfeeding: A Key to a Healthy Future.”
