This will be our first baby. Can anyone tell me their personal 'must haves and avoid items' and why?…

Muslin cloths are a must have!! And vests! My daughter goes through about 3 or 4 vests a day 😂😂 she never wore mits or those hats... Definitely get a swing chair, my daughter loves hers! Oh and if you're giving your baby a dummy, get the ones that have caps (avent) and get a dummy clip xxx

if your not breast feeding, get the prefect prep machine that makes the bottles in seconds. a defo must have on your list :) x

Must- baby grows get both newborn size and larger newborn incase baby is bigger than expected I made the mistake of only bringing one size and he was much bigger than expected! Don't bother with fancy clothes or clothes for the first week they're in and out of stuff it's a waste of money as well xx

Deffo don't buy too many outfits with looking after my other children my lo will be living in baby grow for ages as they vomit and get poo over everything and it can stain and u just out that fab outfit on and it's ruined 5 mins later. Lol I only ever buy one or two nice outfits and leave it till there a little older. I love a baby in a gro lol

@megz, because when baby isn't using the dummy it stays clean if you put the cap on it :)

definitely get sleepsuits with integrated mitts as they won't keep scratch mitts on for long! x
