Really really questioning why I put up with my boyfriends bull crap...he is going to Hawaii for a week on Monday and won't get up with me at 430 to feed his daughter and help while I pump. Every other night I wake up with her and pump while I feed her but just this one time , knowing he will be on vacation (without us) he'd be willing to get up for 20 minutes...no. And there is no way I'm gonna beg him, cause a disagreement and get him upset with me right before he leaves....

@rockysmommy, my daughter is too young to ride on an airplane (no vaccines) and her whole schedule would be flipped if we went there.

@rockysmommy, he is going for his cousins wedding but I don't think he should be going in the first place. He has a newborn and knew she wouldn't be ready the day his cousin got engaged, we had her due date then and he didn't second guess going. Barely seems to care I'll be here to take care of her while he's soaking in the sun and not worrying about anything

My boyfriend wanted to go to some paint club party thing in April but he knew I was going to be 8 months pregnant so he didn't. And now he doesn't go anywhere because he stays home to help. We didn't make these babies on our own, if we don't get a vacation they shouldn't either that's how I see it.

That's how I see it as well. He seems to think that I'm the mom and it's my job, which it is and I love every minute but that doesn't mean he can't help or turn down an amazing trip. He hasn't sacrificed anything and he thinks he somehow is super dad just because he cuddles with her when she sleeps. And I'm left to do all the dirty work and late nights. Her and I deserve better than this.

That's very true. He needs to man up and actually realize being a father isn't just having a baby and getting the title. You have to put work into it. Just because he works and makes money doesn't make him excluded from the dirty work. But Brandon doesn't even wake up at nights on his days off for me so I know that feeling. Thankfully Rocky only wakes up once sometimes twice at night but during the beginning I was exhausted.
