okay ladies I need advice I thought I was eight weeks pregnant. last week I had very slight spotting it was bright red an stopped like 15 mins later it wasn't constant well went to the baby doc my hcg levels was 1145 but they seen no baby an no sac told me to get my levels redone in two days an ultrasound in a week. I've been cramping but nothing the doc said that's normal. today I spotted just a Lil bit it was dark red. but other than that I haven't had any bleeding. just some pain in the top of my stomach. I'm so confused could I not be as far as I thought or could it be a tubal pregnancy???? help please I'm so stressed an worried

At 8 weeks you would be able to see a baby, even with an abdominal scan, also at 8 weeks the levels should be much higher than that. it's possible that you aren't as far along as you think you are.

they didn't do a abdomanl just a vaginal I get my levels redone tomorrow hopefully they are going up? an with a ectopic does it cause a lot of pain an bleeding?

@dawn90, if it was a vaginal they still would have seen a baby at 8 weeks. Did they check your tubes as well? A tubal pregnancy cause excruciating pain you would most likely be doubled over in pain if it were tubal. Yes a tubal causes bleeding but so does a miscarriage

I would kind of rule out tubal pregnancy, because I think you would have a lot of bleeding and lots of pain. You might be early then they thought (my situation now) so hopefully your HCG levels go up and able to see something on your next ultrasound.

oh I was told you cannot see any thing on a ultrasound until your levels are at least 2,500

@ainsleighsmumma, the doc said she didn't see any signs that it was a tubal an I haven't bleed a lot at all so maybe its just to early the pain feels like a mild period on an off nothing to terrible tho

they can't see anything until your levels reach 2,500. it could be an ectopic pregnancy if your levels don't double or if they don't see anything. I had an ectopic pregnancy in may. good luck and keep us updated.and if you were 8 weeks they should be able to see something.
