FTM here and of course my SO is now freaking me out. My son has been sick, congested with a cough for about 5 days now. We were at a family party and a lot of people touched him (more than I liked) but also that night, the AC was turned on 68. So either things could have gotten him sick. But then I started to think about whooping cough bc of his cough but don't want to google and freak myself out more. Am I being dramatic?? 😳

If it is just a normal cough then it is for sure not whooping cough. It has a very distinct cough and he would be pretty sick by day 4.

Is he sneezing or have a fever or red running eyes

@mybabyloves, no fever but super congested! At night can't suck on his pacifier bc he has trouble breathing out of his nose and it's like a dry cough

Doesn't sound like whooping cough at all. Have you put him in footie PJ's with vicks on the bottom of his feet, maybe after a nice bath for bed time.Putting a humidifier in my son's room always help him

@mybabyloves, I am going to try Vicks tonight! I've been using saline drops before and putting on a humidifier for him at night and not putting on the fan and it hasn't helped at all. So that's why I was getting a little worried but I will try the vicks!

If you see it getting worse I would for sure have him seen just to be safe

Try a vaporizer it will help as well as saline drops
