I'm sorry. My son isn't even 3 months old yet and my husband is falling into his fathers idea that he needs a 5oz bottle every 2 hours. NO, my child can not hold that much. A babies stomach is the size of their fist balled up. I am not going to over feed my son. SCREW THAT!!!! HE GETS FULL OFF OF A 3OZ BOTTLE!!!

If he's still hungry he can handle 5 oz but it definitely shouldn't be every 2 hours! If he was taking 5 oz itd be every 4-5 hours. Have you tried explaining to him how small their tummys are?

@ladyameliasmama he works in the medical field. He understands. But he is letting his father get to his head. My son stops eating before he will even finish a 3oz bottle. We have talked to plenty Drs. And 25-28 oz a day which is what he gets is plenty. Any more and we will be over feeding and over expanding his stomach.
