basically so you can't pass on whopping cough to your baby because it can be deadly..when I had my first 2 they use to give it to me in the hospital when I had them but there have been so many cases that parents pass it on before so they started doing it before baby was born.

I got Tdap and a special shot for my blood type called RhoGAM.

@babyj0916, Thats a swab of your vagina and sometimes anus (depending on doctor), if positive you get antibiotics during labor with your regular fluids.

My doc said they'll give the whooping cough shot to my baby after I deliver... @babyj0916 the strep b is a test they do so see if you are carrying the strep b infection and if you are they'll give you antibiotics during delivery so your baby don't get it. All they done to me was make me get undress from the waist down and swab the inside of my vagina... it's a lil uncomfortable tho hahaha then they checked my cervix and that shit hurt!!! lol

@sweetmami391, yeah they all about money and I never got a flu shot 😭 is that weird, my mom says that's how you get the flu so she never took me get it, I know with babies it's different but I have a few cousins that's nurses and Drs Ima see what they have to say about these vaccines cause tbh its a lot
