I'm so bloody proud of myself, y'all don't understand. I don't think I'm better than anyone, I'm not saying I am. But when I commit myself to something I commit, and I don't like taking no for an answer. I unfortunately could not breastfeed but I already had a goal of breastfeeding for the first 6 months of Vi's life. When I couldn't breastfeed I didn't let it stop me, I started pumping away, day and night every 3-4 hours, I can't even tell you how many times I was pumping away at 2,3,4 in the morning with my eyes closing on me. For the first 3 1/2 months I pumped MANUALLY bloody manually!! So many people (lactation consultants) told me I wouldn't make it past 4 weeks pumping manually, and here we are. I'm really trying not to brag, but bloody A Ima toot my own horn because I'm so proud of myself for doing this for my daughter. Walter can even attest to the times I cried and bawled my eyes out because of how stressful exclusively pumping is. Vi is 5 months and a half and we are planning on starting her on foods, will I continue pumping? Most likely, but I'm just glad I'm practically touching my goal line. #ExclusivelyPumping #ExclusivelyPumpingMama #SometimesBreastfeedingLooksLikeThis

I'm really proud of you and I know how much work it is I gave up after 2 months it just became too much for me (but the first 6 weeks were really my main goal) so you are amazing for that
