QUESTION: for experienced moms or moms with newborns.. Do you girls wake up at night to feed baby?…

I always fed my babies, their pediatrician said don't feed him anymore at night but I've tried and all he does is cry and I can't stand to hear him cry

@kreese88, my mom told me she will cry for 3 days maybe a weeks but she will realize that you aren't going to feed her so she will go to sleep just make sure her diaper is clean she is well burped but don't fee her

My fiancé works and my son wakes up 3 times a night sometimes four and my fiancé is awake helping me at every feeding and changing diapers and I pump as well every time he wakes up and my fiancé stays up with me and he goes to bed at 11pm and leaves for work at 5:30am and works a 10-12 hour day everyday. The first week was rough on him but after that he said it's become a routine for him. So waking up at night will only be rough for the first few weeks till your body gets in the routine then when you go back to work it shouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't not feed your baby all night. I know at first my son slept all night and I woke him up every two hours because that is what the recommended time is between feelings for newborns

It's not healthy to not feed them. Bad for their liver. They are crying for a reason. They're too little to "cry it out"

My daughter was up all night with me feeding her my doctor said they need to eat to catch up on their birth weight

I did until they hit 12lbs my ped said by then they have plenty of fat to keep them fuller longer but every baby is different ... My first slept in four hour increments my son ate every two hours .. Basically till my milk got thicker for him that took a bit

I feed my baby whenever she's hungry, I don't go by " the schedual " My daughter sleeps through the night ever since 2 months so I feed her at 9:30 to bed and than at 5am she wakes up for another fed and goes back to sleep till 9am. Every baby has their way, just know your babies routine. When my daughter was 1month she would wake up every 3 hours and if she woke up crying I will change her and feed and if she woke up just making noises i would let her see around and pick her up until she was getting sleepy or fuzzy.

you should wake your new born up at night to feed. they will go back to sleep.. the size of their stomachs aren't that big at all

At first I thought I hit the jackpot when I first brought my son home from the hospital and he would sleep through the night. The doctor told me that wasn't true though and that if he didn't wake up on his own, I needed to wake him up. I get that you work, a lot of mom's do, but waking up in the middle of the night is just part of the newborn ritual. As newborns they need to be fed on demand. Things our parents did are a lot of the time outdated
