Please tell me if I'm in the wrong here... So we let my husband's brother, wife, and kid stay with us for about 7 months because they had nowhere else to go and nobody else of their family wanted them to stay with them and within those 7 months we had to deal with the most ridiculous things ever. Both his brother and wife are alcoholics so they would get drunk all the time and beat each other to the point where they both had swollen, bloody faces and their 1 year old son would watch it all and just be crying the whole time, they smoked cigarettes like crazy, including in the room they were staying in when we told them we didn't want that in the house since our daughter has had many respiratory problems, they threatened both me and my husband, they messed up the room in OUR house so bad, I mean stains on the carpet and a huge hole in the wall and still have not paid to fix that hole 2 months down the road, they were the nastiest people, never helped with anything, whether it was cleaning or paying rent or anything. They basically lived here for free... but now my husband's sister wants to have a small get together here at our house and I said that was okay, but I didn't want their brother or wife here. Am I in the wrong?? & I never once got an apology, instead they blamed me for their problems LOL but do you guys think I'm in the wrong for not wanting them at my house??

NOT AT ALL.. plus it's your house, you shouldn't be giving them any explanation on why you don't want them in your house,

not at all, especially if you're going to have alcohol around, no one needs to see their crazyness come out.
