Thank you for your input ladies ! Glad to know it's nothing too alarming ! I'm a first time mom so everything has been concerning me , I want her to stay little forever but then again I'm ready for her to be a couple months old already so there's somewhat less to worry about lol !

She'll be fine until then. My daughter left the hospital with her levels being 12.5. Try to lay her by a window that gets sunlight or take her for walks. The best way to get rid of it is for you to feed feed feed her so she can poop it out. Thats what the doctors told me. She'll be fine if it gets worse her doctor will put her under a light thats about it. @lauren5786

When we were in the hospital her levels were 8.0 then at 34 hours after being born they rose to 10.1 but the dr said it was okay to come home because she aged so the numbers technically weren't any higher . She was born Monday at 4:14 am. Well yesterday she was fine but today she looks decently yellow , an you can really see the yellowish of her eye whites . She has her first appointment at 9:30 tomorrow . Is she okay until then or should I be concerned that this suddenly happened ? @babynessa

@lauren5786, my daughter had it within 24 hours of being born. Most of the time, it will go away after a bit or with phototherapy. I'm my daughters case it was much worse.

I did .. My second born had it and my milk didn't come in for 5 days I ended up having to give him formula ( which I did by a syringe by choice ) until it came in he just kept getting more yellow at the time I thought it was pretty Italian skin 🙈 but all was ok he was given sun light and did well

My daughter had it. We just took her outside for about 10 minutes twice a day and it was gone after 3 days
