It amazes me, how good our instincts can be. When I was in the hospital being induced, I just knew when she was about to come. My epidural wore off on one side and I'm glad it did bc if it hadn't, I probably would have been having a baby on my own lmao. I noticed something felt very very off once my epidural wore off, so I asked David to get a nurse (I didn't ask for anything my entire hospital stay bc I didn't want to bother anyone, so he knew something was definitely up). The nurse asked if I wanted to try the epidural again and I said I didn't think there was enough time, she called the anesthesiologist anyway and left. So I asked him to get another nurse and have them check me. I'm glad I spoke up bc her head was already partially out! As soon as the doctor was in the room I had to start pushing lol, she was halfway out by the time they had everything set up! He was preparing himself to just catch her with his hands 😂😂😂 10 minutes later she was here 💕 I'm really glad I went with my instinct instead of just keeping quiet like usual bc who knows what would have happened. I still can't believe I was able to do it. I thought for sure I'd need a cesarean. 😅
