mama, it is a scary thought I will give you that, I've been thru 2 of them (one emergency and one scheduled) it's not a bad as we make it out to be in our minds. my second one I wasn't nervous at all I was cracking jokes with everyone in the operating room lol.... just remember to do what they tell you to as far as getting up and moving

Everything will be just fine. Its not as bad as you think it is. Im going on my 3rd one. Plus its the safest way.
