a girl I vaguely know and her partner (who's from my home town) were expecting a little girl 2 months before me and called her Lacey. That's what I had planned to call my daughter and got personailsed things made. I was gutted but as I was spelling it Lacie, I just went ahead with it. No one has said anything and my daughter's 8 months now. I think since your daughter's names gonna have Ivy on the end, it's a totally different name. If thats what you like then go for it! x

seeing as you don't see or speak to the other girl then it's perfectly acceptable, plus she is 3 years old so not like it's 2 months apart and they are called the same, they wouldn't be in the same class at school or wouldn't have the same group of friends so I'd go for it if I was you :) it's a beautiful name xxx

@byoungx, thanks Hun, I always loved it but kept saying oh I cant its so and so's lil girl's name but I keep coming back to it and love it, plus she isn't a close friend xxx
