at what age did you guys start potty training? and what made you start? like did baby start telling…

i introduced my son to the potty when he was was about a yr and a half..and he was fully trained a month before his 2nd bday

what made you wanna start potty training him? @adaraa126 my daughter tells me caca and pee pee but after she does it

I just figured it was a good time to start..just so he could be introduced to it. He got really excited about it and it didnt take long for him to start doing his business on the potty

once you start introducing the potty you just need to remind her that she needs to be doing her business in the potty..and not her diaper..and when she does go in the potty make sure to give her lots of praise and encouragment:)

my son turned two this June on the 5th and we r now potty training him. He was telling us pee pee and kaka and I started watching him to see his actions. I caught him squatting down Everytime he would tell me. I started first using a pull up and just sitting him on the training potty with it on and once he got the hang of that he has started to tell me when he needs to go and I help him pull down his shorts and pull up.

Nolan's pot has always been in the bathroom so when I go pee I tell him to go sit on his pot. He poops right when he wakes up so I know to put him on the pot as soon as he wakes up. Whenever he pees he taps on his diaper to let me know and when he poops he says "I poo poo" or he'll grab his wipes

If there's an interest in using the potty that's a good sign. My son was stubborn and wasn't in the least bit interested until he was 3 years old. Boys are tougher than girls. And it all depends on the child. Look for signs like questions about the potty, telling you that he needs to go. Encourage that behavior but don't push it too much or it could backfire.
