I heard my baby's heart beat today. 12 weeks today. I finally told my grandmother I was pregnant and she said that she hated that for me. She was not supportive or even happy that her only daughter is now a grandmother. It breaks my heart that I cried calling my mother and her telling me that was the same thing she told her. That made me cry more. Yes I understand that I am not married or in a serious relationship but this was not planned but I am taking the steps into motherhood and that means I need the support of my family young and old.

My great grandmother told me that it was a shame. Now, she is bugging every one to tell me to stop by cause she has a bag full of things for my baby. I think your grandmother will come around. after all, she has a long time to do so. i hope everything works out for you. & congratulations!

my mom hid my first pregnancy from everybody in her family, especially my grandma. your mom and grandmother will come around eventually :)

Damn. My grandma is so old fashioned and superstitious. I assumed she wouldn't be happy Bc the myth " when a new life is brought an old one goes" so she probly thought she was finna die
