It sucks I tested positive for group b strep!! Now I need to be on antibiotics while on labor 😞 I was not planning on having an IV

There are no symptoms for Strep B. Had it with my first child but not my second. Hopefully I skip it with this one. And they usually give you a IV for fluids anyway. So dont count on not having a Iv put in.

It's not that bad and if they admit you prior too birth they'll take it out before you deliver if you've had a good dose.

You don't need an iv if you keep yourself hydrated. I love water so that wouldn't have been a problem for me. Lol but yeah I heard sometimes you have it with one kid and not the other! Kinda crazy lol
