Apparently I lied. We have to wait 4 more weeks until my husband can hear the heartbeat for the first time. I was so sad I cried the whole time. All they did was talk to us about genetics and we left.

it'd be hard to find the heartbeat at this stage with a Doppler.. That's what they told me anyway. it's so you don't panic if they can't find it

My mom and ai heard the heartbeat last week during our ultrasound and I was told at my 13 week appt we would be doing an ultrasound but that was not the case, which is why we didn't get to hear it. I hate being told something then having it changed. @tlw1596

Yeah I totally understand that.. I would be upset by that too.. how far along are you? once they can get baby on the Doppler you'll hear the heartbeat at every single appointment, but they struggled to find my baby at 13 weeks

That would have pissed me off.. it takes like two minutes.. They should definitely start checking at every appointment after this

I got moved to a different office for this appt and I had never been there before. It is another office of the one I mainly go to. The one I always go to is much better. Best believe I will not be going back to this office, only my regular one.
