So I'm not having any pain but my stomach is consistently tightening (every 8-10 mins) for the past hour almost.. if they get closer do I go in or do I wait for it to be accompanied by cramps/pain? I feel like I'll just get sent home if there's isn't any real pain and if that's the case there's no need to do the 30-35 min drive to the hospital.. ugh I wish It was closer!!

when I went into l&d I wasn't having any pain just the belly tightening. they would ask me when they saw it pop up on screen. I would go in just to see. my contractions didn't get worse and painful up until I was closer to 10 cm

Okay I just don't want to go for nothing especially since my SO works in the am lol but did you feel any painful contractions/ones that hurt before that? Because i have just not this time only tightening so that's why I'm not sure if I'm actually having them or not @babygirl71716

it sound like u r having them especially by the timing.. i would wait until they are 3min apart though so it won't be a blank trip

@klove23, to be honest my Braxton hicks hurt more then my beginning contractions. I honestly didn't feel them until about an hour AFTER pitocin was started. I would follow @mommy2three_boys advice. save you a wasted trip.
