Can CPS take my child away if my house isn't spotless? I was told today by my SO dad, that if I didn't start keeping my house super clean, that he would be take me to court to get my baby taken away.

It's not bad. He sat there and basically yelled at me saying it pretty bad that he has to bring his wife up here to clean. But he doesn't have to. I'm capable of doing some things not all, and of course it's going to take me awhile to get it all done from running up and down stairs to clean and standing to do dishes.

And I don't live like a hoarder. my house looks like people actual live Here 24/7. He sat there and said my blood isn't going to live in a pig stye. Yes I had dirty laundry in the bathroom from when we take showers, I just hadn't been able to carry them down stairs to do them. And I see no point in taking them down one outfit at a time.

i mean if your house is filthy then yes they can take your child.. A little mess isnt bad but junky is ridiculous.. kids should be in a safe clean environment.. if your house is decent then you have no worries

He sat there and said the only time my house gets clean is when he has to bring his wife up here to do it. And my child isn't even born yet, but after all the stress he put on me from raising his voice at me, I wouldn't be surprised if something were to come up at my doctors appointment tomorrow. @oliver953

Lol if he saw my bedroom he would die. and I do the same thing as you do with the clothes in the bathroom. plus I have two dogs and a husband, so there's more mess haha. I'd tell him to eat shit cause there's no reason to be a douchebag

I'd tell him to fu(k off personally.. it's your house and you pay the bills, if he doesn't like it then don't come over. and since it is also your child he doesn't need to see it either if that is how he is going to act
