She takes the pacifier sometimes but can't keep it her damn mouth. So I kind of gave up on it. She just now started her thumb and it is staying in. Unfortunately she can't grasp the part to curl her other fingers so she grabs her whole face. It is cute but dangerous because she is going to poke her eye out!! Lol this is her when she was first born and that is what she does with her fingers.

I thought I was going to have sleep in her crib by now. But the thought of her not in the same room I am not ready. We would probably sleep better if I wasn't on top of her. Lol @theinkedmommy

I have a great monitor story. When we first brought her home. I have been sleeping in the spare room with her and my husband sleeps in our room. (It works out because he is working and I am not at the moment) anyway he was scared of SIDS that he had the monitor on in his room. I told him if anything happens I am in the room. Well finally after 2 weeks of him not sleeping he had to stop with the monitor. I love the fact he wanted to watch her too but he was way over board. It is funny to us now because it was so ridiculous. @theinkedmommy

It is definitely easier to stalk them in the same room. I put my hand on her chest before I go to bed too! @theinkedmommy

Maybe this why we don't get enough sleep! We are supposed to sleep when the baby sleeps but we are too busy poking and feeling for breath! Lol My baby is asleep now. I should be asleep also but I am in so much pain. I am trying to stop cold turkey pumping. I was down to two pumps a day anyway and I start work in a few weeks. So I figure I would get a jump start on it now. If you guys have any advise. (Besides get now boobs) that would be great the pain is unbearable. But i know it won't last forever. I have the cabbage leaves in and I am dying. I have no patience for this shit. I am definitely an on demand type person. If it isn't now I can't be bothered. I don't know how in the world I waited 2 years to get pregnant and 9 months to deliver. And yes I can't wait until the newborn stage is over and my baby isn't a baby. I can't wait until she is at least walking and talking.

I got her back to sleep at 7 and she is still sleeping. I am going to miss these lazy mornings when I go back to work!@mrsthig

I go back officially on the 15. They have me filling in for a teacher 2 days the week before. I got a new job a head teacher to a toddler classroom. If I did not get this job I couldn't afford childcare . They want $270 a week! Good thing they offer 1/2 price.

That gives me hope! Two more months. Lol I wish my daughter was more like me and loves to sleep at night!! Hopefully last night wasn't a fluke and she wants to sleep longer.
