can anyone tell me what happens if i dont want to take my glucose test? or if i refuse it?

The doctors will just treat you as if you have gestational diabetes. They arent bad. Fast about 3-4 hrs before and youll be good. Otherwise the doctors will just treat you as if you do have it

depends on your doctor. If you are just refusing for the drink...they may allow you an alternative. Or they will want to treat you as if you are diabetic. Telling you to monitor your sugar and eat a special diet

I have refused to drink the glucola and i will monitor my sugar 2 times per day for one week, report my numbers, and get my determination that way

@arivera64, @sammyj yea i remember mines saying she will have to treat me as if i have it. n the problem is i cant have 2 much sugar i had the gastric sleeve done n if i have ro much sugar i get real sick. sumtyms throwing up and diarrhea. thats why i dont feel like going thru it. i cant drink the liquid fast enough so she gave me the alternative of 28 jelly beans. but the sugar in da morning especially i knw is gonna get me mad sick

So ask to just monitor your sugar for one week. Take blood in the morning fasting and then again one hr after breakfast.

If i get pregnant again im refusing, just stay healthy. you know YOUR body and know your limits. Go with your instinct and trust yourself.

@arivera64, i think i am. i cant handle dumping its so bad. my sugar never gos high even at 400 lbs before. now im at 257. i think ima tell her i just wanna moniter it myself
