I invited like 50 people and about 30-40 showed up. I just had mines on Saturday at 33!weeks. We played music & ate snacks for like the first hour, then played the games, then the last hour & a half we ate the food. Ours was more like a typical family gathering with a little baby shower. Lol

I was 32 weeks I invited 50. 38 showed up. I did a Sunday brunch at a restaurant because myself and my coworkers work on Saturday's. I did it at a restaurant because I wanted everyone to come and have a nice time and not be worried about anything or running around like a chicken without a head and no cleaning up after. I'm not a games person so we just did the string to guess the belly size and and I had a calendar for people to guess the birth date. I used my decorations as party favors. They were little cactus plants. Really cute. I think there's pictures in my profile page.

Look on Pinterest for ideas of games and other ideas. I'm doing mine at 31 weeks. I invited family and a few friends. I'm doing one that guys can come too. it actually seems more like a party then a baby shower lol

I did a coed party and had about 20 or 25 people there. We invited a little over 30 just to give you an idea of people not showing up. We did a pretty laid back thing, ordered food through a little Italian/pizza place and set food out buffet style (hosted at my husband's best friend's house) and for games we did a little quiz for everyone to fill out and for me to fill out (they had to answer questions and guess what my answers would likely be- what I thought the weight of the baby was, fact type questions plus some funny ones) whoever got the most answers matching mine won a prize. Then we had play doh and were timed and had to make a little playdoh baby...hubby and I got to pick the most creative, most anatomically correct and funniest and those people won prizes. We also had a diapering contest. Two people went up and we're blindfolded and had to baby powder/diaper a stuffed animal. They were timed as well. We did it tournament style and had finalists, etc. All of the games were so much fun!! We had the party inside and out on the patio, there was some alcohol for those who wanted it and we did a cupcake cake instead of a big fancy cake.

@valrocks, i love the idea of having it out at a restraunt! and @mommy2be102016 I am inviting guys to mine too. I just don't have a ton of girl friends. I think i may do a bbq kind of thing.
