Anybody that takes welfare can you help me? My mom has me on her case but I wanna apply for my own benefits since I have my own child on the way. My mom's friend told me I can go apply & I'll receive assistance but do I need to move out first in order for that to happen? Feel like am being taken advantage here from my mom honestly especially because am suppose to get half of the coupons & I never see the card to feed myself ..

Just go up there it's better and tell them that you wanna get taken off your mothers case ... Most likely she will have to write a letter stating that you live there
you just have to say you buy food seperatley but she needs to get you off her case or she could get in a lot of trouble or owe the money back
wait you should have been getting your own once you found out you was pregnant because they give for you and after birth they give for you and baby for a year but yeah you will still get assistance living with her just tell the office or call and tell them you would like your benefit on your own card

def online these days within a few days you 'll hear back especially if you have no income for yourself at moment they'll give u expedited food stamps and someone (case manager will call you)there's a part you can actually type ,,so put how far im pregnancy you are and you have zero income )theyll send u a food stamp card fast if that's what u put if you arenr working at all
You don't have to move you go to the office and or call they'll let you know what they need from you send it in and you're good

Your mom has to take you off her case before you go apply because they wont process your case if your still under her budget. And for you and the baby your SNAP benefits will be a little over $300 once the baby is born.
