What type of discharge changes do we look for in pre term labor signs? My high risk doctor gave me a…

Problem is it can be thick,clear or in between...😕 I just remember I had a lot of clear discharge where I thought it was my water but it wasn't..crazy thing was I went into labor that night lol

Like my water broke

See im confused. Iv been high risk since 15 weeks especially after my surgery at 22 weeks. The past few days i had an increase in Braxton Hicks and major back ache. But the BH have subsided since sunday morning. I feel like I have a lot more discharge than normal very liquidy but then again iv always had a fair amount throughout pregnancy 😟 my next appt is Thursday. Im skeptical of calling my doctor because they have me go in no matter what my question is because of the complications iv had so far. But i feel like i don't need to if im not contracting. I dont want to over react if i just happen to have a little more today than normal but i also dont wanna ignore it and go into labor in the middle of the night! @edomke

mine was almost booger like, maybe a few days before my water broke and I went into labor.

@sarahplus2, were you having consistent contractions when your water broke?

nope, they even tried to keep the babies in but they weren't having it.

@sarahplus2, well im so glad they turned out ok! Im very nervous about my twins coming early. But everyone thought they'd make their way here weeks ago and not make it so im fortunate they've stayed put as long as they have!

Yeah, they came at 32 weeks and we're in the NICU for a month but they are doing really well! For me all of a sudden the pregnancy was really taking its toll on me and then a few weeks later they were here! people thought the same about me, they were impressed I made it that far.

thats great! Iv had issues with my cervix opening since 15 weeks. I had an emergency stitch put in at 22 weeks. But my cervix is getting thinner so they are surprised the stitch hasnt ruptured through my cervix yet. Its been a struggle. Iv been on bed rest since 15 weeks. I can't wait for them to be here but at the same time NICU stay scares me. Im positive they will be fine though 🙏everything actually felt pretty great considering the circumstances iv been in with my cervix. No morning sickness my whole pregnancy no migraines no big aches iv felt good. So this sudden change in my back aching and more braxton hicks has me wondering if they are gonna be coming soon. @sarahplus2

wow, I would go stir crazy on bed rest for that long! but I'm glad you were able to keep them in for so long. every day helps! I was freaked out by the NICU at first but it all works out in the end! Could be! if so I hope it all works out. are you having a c section or natural?

If they stay head down i should be able to go natural. At least im hoping thats the outcome. It also kinda depends on whether my cervix ruptures and how bad it is if it calls for emergency c section. But I will deliver in an operating room just in case anything happens if i start out all natural. So my entire labor is all kinda up in the air. Which sucks because I had a plan in mind but im not in a pregnancy where i can really plan for anything lol @sarahplus2

Yeah, I delivered in an or just in case but I was able to do both naturally, my second was born breech. but I totally understand not really being able to plan.

My doctor will not deliver a breech baby. If he can't reach up and turn baby B (if he happens to turn breech mid delivery) he will do a c section for him. Its very scary! And you never know with babies!My specialist told me that she had a lady go into labor and when they did an ultrasound it was breech so they did c section and by the time they cut her open the baby had turned into head down! lol its insane! @sarahplus2
