Started the 24 hour pee test this morning. anyone else had to do one of these?

I've had 6 kids and never had to do that. What is it?

I have to collect my urine for 24 hours in a jug to be tested for proteins. @baby6aryn

@mell_babie12, do you have high blood pressure ? I got sent to do it because of my blood pressure. And came back at 398 and normal is 300

@stefhany92, yepp, I have high blood pressure but have had it for a few years before getting pregnant. Did they do anything for your level being so high?

I had to do it last week. It's a pain. I'm taking the jug in tomorrow....in the meantime I've had urine in a jug sitting in my refrigerator 😶 third baby and first time I've had to do this crap

@phinnybinz, I have to take mine in, in the morning and have to do a blood test due to having high blood pressure before being pregnant.

Yeah, I always have high bp the first time they take it...then they take it again and it's always fine. Been that way since I was a child but this pregnancy (first one in America) they insist I take a 24 hour urine sample. It's annoying.

I've had it for like 2 years now and been on medicine for it so they are concerned Because of me being pregnant and already having high blood pressure. It is kind of annoying cause I don't wanna leave the house all day in case I have to pee haha. @phinnybinz

@mell_babie12, no they didnt do anything. They said its still not bad. But am on hbp medicine now as well

ooh ok. I'm already on the medicine so probably nothing else they can do for me haha. @stefhany92
