why do so many "hospital bag" lists tell you to pack diapers? I am taking none so the hospital can…

@sagewaenglish i think that's more than I have! lol I have her going home outfit, a gown, a onesie, and I'm gonna pick out a blanket once I have them all washed 😅

I think some hospitals give u diapers and some don't. 1 lady said her hospital only supplies diapers for the first day and if they stay longer than that she has to supply her own

My hospital sent me home with everything that they brought in for the baby. Wipes, diapers, receiving blankets, alcohol wipes, outfits. The nurses even did this thing where they put together bags for all the new moms and it had baby clothes, diapers, toys and stuff in it.

The hospital does provide everything you need. Unfortunately, my hospital provided Huggies and my baby girl couldn't tolerate them. She would get a terrible, red burning rash all over. I brought some just in case that happened and I'm super glad I did.

@sagwaenglish, my last pregnancy, I took 10 pads and 4 of those big ass underwear.

I went home with the rest of the diapers from an opened pack (like 10) and a crap ton of the ready to use formula. they used dry wipes that you ran water on, so we didn't take those lol

my mom told me not to pack underwear so they would give me a bunch of pads and the mesh underwear . she told me not to pack diapers or wipes so they give me some . and she told me to not bring formula in case breastfeeding doesnt work so they would give me some 😅
