I want to start thinking a about birth control. I had the IUD and HATED it so that's not an option. I plan on trying to breastfeed (with my first I dried up after about 5 weeks) so I'll probably do the mini pill for a while. thats only thing you can take while breast feeding right? but after I go back to work after 6 weeks I'll probably stop. so for after that. suggestions?

nexplanon and depo are other options. I used both while breastfeeding and had no issues. I'm still successfully nursing my 2 yr old and i was on nexplanon after he was born up until 18 months when i started ttc

how come you didn't like the iud? be careful with depo and don't take it your whole life bc it starts to deteriorate your bones

@michelle2220, it made my period super irregular. it made my cramps worse and any time I got sharp cramps I worried it was implanting into me. and mg strings got tangled so they cut them and I could feel them anymore. I want to be dome having kids by the time I'm 26 so it will only be for a year or two before we try again then one of us is getting fixed. 😂
