I need to know if I should go to labor and delivery to get checked out. Ive not had contractions or anything. I don't know what to feel or what to expect. But the past couple hours I've had pains on bottom of my stomach and uterus area. It hurts worse if I move. And my stomach is hard as a rock. My man wants me to go get checked but I don't want to go and it be nothing.

Call! I'd go in just to be safe but you can always call and talk to a nurse

I called and he said go if the pain gets worse but it's only worse if I move. Or touch my stomach. @rm

sounds like contractions, they say if there coming regular and 5 mins apart to go in. but i would go in just to be safe

@mischell, If there is concern call your doctor's afterhour number, a lot of insurance companies now have a nurses line you can call ask well.If you don't have access to either call L&D and see what they say. If you can time the duration of the pain start doing that.

go in to get checked just to make sure and to ease your mind. and if it's painful they can give u something to help if u want it
