I need a long-term birth control but they all scare the shit out of me. I don't want the pill again…

honestly I have the Mirena and I hardly heard any stories - alot of people told me they hear horror stories but idk lol I love it . I get super light periods thst last like 5 days maybe .... and no cramps . and I'm not pregnant so it's doing the job lol

For me, nexplanon was hell. Made me suicidal. And I am WAY too paranoid for anything that has to be physically inserted in my hoo ha. Lol. I was say try some of the other stuff. Or at least get some different options from your OB and resesrch

@katarama, I had the paraguard IUD I didn't experience any side effects, but I have heard women say they have heavier flow. My cycle stayed the same moderate and 3-4 days. It is good for 10 years, I had mine removed after 6 and I chose it because it was the only birth control that is non hormonal.

I'm getting the Mirena for the 2nd time now tuesday. I loved mine and had no problems. I had no period for 4 years. I got it taken out and got pregnant in 2 months of removal.

They have a bc patch

my oldest was a depo baby

my daughter was a mirena baby

and ive had miscarriages while on bc pills

the arm thing is a big no for me

too many bad things

so for me im a calendar person

but i suck at that cuz I'm preggo again lol
