HELP LADIES. Okay not sure what I should do. I'm 39 weeks and 3 days . I went to the bathroom to wipe myself because I've been leaking sort of speak off an on all day . Well as I wiped an removed the tissue my underwear were still down an I had a small gush of clear liquid come out , well I wiped again pulled my underwear up walked to the kitchen an was looking at the calander an had another small gush come out , enough to get my underwear all wet. Is this my water slowly breaking , do I need to go in or is it normal to leak awhile ?? The hospital is about 40 mins away so don't want to go if this is just normal .

sounds like your water, I'd go in

If it's leaking slowly your water could have ruptured and can give you or baby an infection so I would go in!

call first. Even if your water breaks, the doctor doesn't usually have you go in until contractions begin (unless you are gb strep positive) (or unless your water has been broken for multiple hours without contractions)

Okay thank you ladies . You are all great answering soo fast !! I'm going to give them a call and see what they want me to do . I'm continuing to slowly leak .

Go. It definitely sounds like your water. It doesnt all come out at once most of the time.

Sounds like water ... U can call but they will tell you they can't tell unless you come in for a check .. With mine they told me to go in as soon as my water broke .. Good luck

I got told by my doctor. That if your water breaks, give your.doc a call on the way to the hospital. I am glad you're going, amd that came from my doctor. Hope all goes well for you. 😊

It was my water !!!! No doubt lol . She was going to have me change into a gown to check to see if it was my water an as I stood up another giant gush right on the floor lol . She's like nevermind and got my room set up , now hooking my IV up !
