I'm starting to feel a buit redundant. I'm putting it down to being tired but my oh is 'helping' me so much with everything that I'm starting to feel like I don't have a purpose. He makes and steriliser the bottles, feeds Riley (not all the time though), always pushes the buggy, and is very hands on. He keeps trying to make me have a nap when I don't want to leave my little man.
All this is lovely but I'm wondering where my place is?!
.....like I say, I'm putting my sensitivity down to being tired.
Amy other new mums feel like this?
@mich77, my OH is exactly the same!! I thought it was just mine. I often feel like I'm being left to one side when he's home as he always takes our little boy. It is nice that we both have men that are so hands on though! Xx
That's very nice an thoughtful of him otherwise what do men know about bring a mum
I felt like this. To start with I was greatful as I was so saw from tearing ect. But in the end he was going back to work and I didn't even no how to make a bloody bottle!! So the night before we had to quickly rush through everything as I had no idea. From folding the buggy to hoe to steralise! When he went back to work I soon got the hang of it.
I started feeling down cause baby girl won't be breastfed. Kinda feel like I'm failing her. Any advice?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
So sad
I'm feeling very down tonight. I am dealing with a lot and it seems like it keeps getting worse. There will be an improvement, hopefully, on Friday. But I don't feel like I can make it that long. I could use some words of encouragement right now. ?
Anyone else ever deal with postpartum? How long did it last? What did you do to cope with it?
My sons 1 1/2 and I feel like it's just gotten worse over the months. And there's days I wake up and I'm okay. And then things happen like my sons tantrums today and I feel myself falling down again. I just want to break down crying right now. My husbands not very supportive about it either. He just kinda shuts me out when I'm like this. Which makes it worse. I just want this feeling to stop creeping o...
My other half was like this and to him it was his way of ahowing how great full he was to me for carrying and labouring him! Enjoy it whilst it lasts 😜 xx
