I love that so many moms on here have done it! I go to my new OB August 17 so I'll def talk to him about it

about 10-15 minutes until it stopped pulsating. It was cut before I delivered the placenta. I also did cord blood donation.

No more then ten minutes I believe. I was to busy loving on my baby to notice.

I'm not sure how long it was. lol I know that when I read about it, they wait until the cord stops pulsing, clamp it then cut it.

I did. My doctor was happy I asked her to wait. 😊

I did it! My doctor said that they do it anyway but just remind them when you go into labor and say you want it done when the time comes!

I did it as well. Hospital was totally on board.

I did! my hospital actually encourages it!

I have on my birth plan I want them to wait until the cord stops pulsing before they cut it but since im having a c-section I have no idea if they will do as I requested.

Is it an option with hospital births? If so, I wanna look into it
