My partner is on universal credit and I'll be on income support soon we don't live together (not looking for judgement just advice thanks) we plan on moving in with my mother. As she has a bigger house and better access than the flat my partner lives in. Just until we find somewhere for me him and baby. What I'm getting at is if we have to have a joint claim what will it be under? Will we both be under universal credit or income support ??

Did you have to shut down the UC claim first before going on to income support? And was it easy to do over the phone? Xx
