just saw a video on facebook of a mom physically disciplining her 16 year old daughter for having sex in her house and posting half naked pics on fb, I'm going to post the link in the comments, and want to hear you ladies opinions, i think she had every right to be upset, but she went too far, I'm a beliver in discipline but some situations you need to sit your child down and give them a real conversation. take her to get tested, put her on birth control, talk to her about respecting her self as a young woman and respecting her body, to post this on facebook was embarrassing for her daughter and this why kids commit suicide

I can't watch stuff like that but it sounds like it wasn't discipline. There is spanking and there is beating. Sounds like she beat up her daughter, which isn't at all okay. And the fact that she posted it...she'll probably end up in jail for assault to be honest.

the mama had a good ass point.. she was wrong for getting on her ass like that by punching her and ish but I think it was more out of anger . I would have been mad also, but it's ways u can a handle a situation like that..

in my honest opinion people shouldn't post things like that on Facebook...i cant speak on her parenting, just stop blasting kids on social media, that's the embarrassment that will hurt the child the most.

Honestly I know everyone feels differently this girl is 16 and the way she disciplined her wasn't really harsh to me... 16 is basically grown and 16 year olds don't care about getting no whooping with belts a lot of will laugh! The thing I find totally wrong is that she posted it to social media. And as a mother and adult that was irresponsible and stupid. What goes on in your house stays in your house! Your business is only your business!
