I had friends swear up and down for months that they were coming to my shower and no one came. I was just my mom , my sisters and my aunts. and you know what, I had a much better time with just my family and I got everything I need for the baby. so don't stress, it will work itself out.
Every time I invite people to ANYTHING I always expect half the amount to actually show... I hate it, but it is what it is. I feel like since this is my 2nd people aren't taking my shower as seriously. My shower is two weeks away and nothing has been bought off of any of my registries...
@juliakoren, we already have all of her big things and it's just the thought that counts I'm tired of going all out for my friends and not get the same in return
We have our crib and car seat as well as money saved up for the big items. I'm just holding out to see what we get. I'm with you I'm not asking for people to spend a fortune on my little man, but it nice to have him welcomed in this world with love and gifts from the ones I care about.

@xtianaaax, we already have everything we need but it's the point my friend knew about this month's in advance and I'm just waiting on the excuses

i was the same way but i already knew when I started inviting ppl who i could count on and who would have an excuse or two
