ur oh should be entiltled to a carer . im not sure the way to do it becaise i think its doffrent from chilfren to adults x

I think he is entitled to a carer but he doesn't need one, we just need help with housework xx @sophienatasha

@daisysmummy, my husband is also disabled.. he's severely sighted. .. he takes care of the washing and dishwasher and I do the rest.. its hard at times... do u have a neighbour friend or family member that can help you?? does your partner have a social worker? or a charity that helps with his disability?? they may be the best to ask.. x x

@donzi.harri, he has a severe back injury that will only get worse and he's always in pain and most days can't even get out of bed so between caring for him and our daughter, I can't really do any housework... I wouldn't want to ask a friend to help with housework as I am embarrassed... We don't really have any help from anyone apart from PIP obviously xx

aww @daisysmummy don't ever feel bad to ask for help.. . I have.. I'm guessing u are now getting carers allowance?? there is a lot of help out there for carers, google carers entitlement.. I had £300 lump sum to have a holiday as a break for being a carer also entitled to massages for free as carers need treating too.. theres help out there its just knowing where to find it.. social services would be a good start. u can officially register as a carer with them. they will asses your needs etc. is been a carer for my hubby for 12 years.. I know how your feeling. . can be harder than being a parent xx

@dpnzi.harri, It never even occurred to me that I'd be entitled to anything apart from carers allowance xx
