I was out eating lunch with my mom and my son started to get hungry, lately I've given up on using a cover to feed him because he pulls it off or won't eat, just wiggle. So I'm wearing a crop top anyways, I pull my boob out and feed him and my mom says "don't you want to cover up? you should cover up, there's kids here. people will stare"... I just about lost it. CHILDREN DO NOT SEXUALIZE BREASTS, ADULTS DO. If a child sees me feeding I guarantee you they will know the baby is eating. Also if someone stares at me I fucking stare back and make it weird for them.

I had to calm down and remember that my mother doesn't understand, she breastfed me for a week then stopped because "it's weird, it makes the baby attached, it's annoying, it's too hard". She's always asking when I'll stop.. My son is not even 5 months yet. I don't want to plan when to stop, it's up to my baby's needs. That's how it should be.
