Literally EVERYTIME someone says they're gonna do something for me they never do it lol funny thing is I never ask ! Like why offer if you're not gonna follow through. I understand things come up but in that case don't just go offering things when you're not sure you'll be able to do them.. One thing my mom taught me was to keep my word and If I can't I damn sure better communicate that ! I'll definitely be teaching my son the same because it's a shit feeling always getting your hopes up ...

I learned to always have a back up plan because sometimes people don't come through even when they volunteer. That way if they they do I'm good and if they don't I'm still good.

@klove23, feel the same damn way. my sister said before that she would get my baby anytbing she needed. She has literally spent $80 on her and is not involved with my baby shower at all. I've done it all before with her 2 kids...but i feel like im not important enough. and now she turned the guilt around and is blaming me for "shunning her and not asking her to be included in the shower" wtf is wrong with siblings man!

@spayanes85, seriously! as soon as my sister found out I was pregnant she said she would do my baby shower.. as the months pass she never said anything else about it then my mother in law asked if she could do it instead and I said sure. I asked her about it and she constantly kept giving excuses as to why she still had no set plans smh Just yesterday my dad goes and offers to take me to get my nails done before the baby comes and today has a million and one excuses as to why he can't anymore like ugh and don't even get me started on everyone that said that the had/are gonna get gifts for the baby ha PEOPLE !

@klove23, i feel your pain gurl. family is f**kin selfish.....and what's really sad is that my sister is practically the only sibling I have (that still talks to me) and she is projecting that guilt back on to me and making me feel like shit. let me ask you, is she younger than you?

@spayanes85, Yeah that's definitely not fair !! but people do it all the time to avoid taking responsibility smh and nope she's my oldest sister ! This whole pregnancy I've kinda felt forgotten.. when my sister's where pregnancy i would always check on them either by phone or visiting and I can't even get a text back from them half the time smh

yes!! preach! we.are experiencing the same shit!! haha, well...you know where you stand with them. that pretty crappy they would do that :( hopefully it will get better!!! my sister is younger. i thought maybe it had something to do with them being spoiled brats!! lol
