Moms with plenty of experience I need your advice. I have a 2.5 almost 3 month old son. The past week and a few days he is constantly crying. No fever, not too hot, not too cold, fed, diaper changed, cuddled, laid in crib and pack n play, put in swing, put in vibrating bouncy seat on and off and swaddled. Nothing is working not extra food, refuses to be cuddled. What can I do this constant crying is getting to where I want to lose my mind. I have even tried the crying it out method, teething rings cold and warm and binky. What can I do?

Sounds like he's colicky. There's really no way to make it better but just let him get over it. With my son I would lay him on his stomach and it would help a bit

Could Also Be Gas.

My little girl was kinda like that, I would give her gas drops, or gripe water! It would help sometimes!

How often is he pooping? Sometimes that affects their mood as well.

@angelao777 at least 1-2 times a day like he has been for quite some time. Been like that since 1.5 months old

Well that's a good sign :) Does he seem full when he eats? My son had colic really bad and I tried a couple pinches of cereal in his bottle at night and that helped tremendously, that and mylecon drops. I just recently tried the gripe water this year because the baby girl I keep cried all the time and nothing else would work.

@angelao777 he seems full. We have talked to his peds Dr and she told us signs to watch for and once we see them he seems like he is done. And we have been giving him cereal in all his bottles for him and his drs recommendation. We have a slight weight gain issue. Almost 3 months old and 9lbs and some change. The only thing we can find is a bath to calm him but can't keep him in a bath 24/7.

If baths help maybe you can wipe him with a warm wet cloth periodically to see if that helps. Or you can try just keeping him in a diaper to see if maybe clothes are what are bothering him. My son hated clothes in the summer and I kept him covered in corn starch and in a diaper because he never seemed cool enough. Every child is different though. I have taken care of dozens of babies over the past decade or so and each come with their own moods and preferences. Sometimes the crying can be a phase, sometimes not. I have an 11 month old I keep now and 90% of the day she cries ( for no reason at all). Her parents found holding her helped ( they do all day) but holding a baby all day long only prevents them from becoming mobile ( she didn't roll over till 7m and just started crawling 2 weeks ago ). Colic can be a crazy thing to go through, I'm hoping for your sake that's all it is. Best thing to do is stay calm, if he's fussy and you find yourself getting emotional, it's best to take a few mins to yourself to regroup because babies sense stress and if you get stressed they will too.
