so i decides to give my doc a chance by asking more question before i decided to go to a birthing center she doesn't have any idea I'm considering leaving i just don't want her to give me any info to cause fear.
I asked about natural birth she was telling me that i will need the epidural and that i will change my mind ( which is a common answer)
i asked her what i can do to prepare for natural birth ( she said maybe some yoga classes but you'll most likely need the epidural)
i asked her about different delivery position (she said yes but will not do water birth because the water can mess with my airways and can complicate the delivery.)
i told her we don't want to cut the umbilical cord after delievery i want the blood in the placenta to push out some more (she said well you should do cord banking id better for your baby's future and we can finance it that way you do have to cut the cord immediately after so that you can store it you should do some research)

i know thats crazy! I've learned more from friends that had midwives i told her i don't know how to be pregnant what to eat what i can and cannot do i can google but it's way too much info for me to take in she was like don't lift more that 30 lbs and six small meals a day. and she asked if i needed any prescriptions for any thing 😳 @cubanese,

She just seems really ignorant, she should be supportive and at least attempting to meet your goals. I'd probably switch.

My doctor asked me last Wednesday if I took the class in order to get my epidural and I told her no. She just looked at me and smiled and said all natural is so much better. So glad my doctor understands!

i want to do delayed cord cutting too, but i havent spoken to my ob about it yet seeing im only 21 weeks. but i will bring it up and hubby and I are so set on it.
