Feeling so upset today so I apologise in advance for the moan.
We currently renting but we have to leave next month as landlord is demolishing the block. We been looking at other places for over 2 mths now. We finally found one we like but we've been told that because they going to take into account my maternity leave salary instead of my current salary,also because my job will no longer exist after mat leave that we don't stand much of a chance if being accepted 😢.
My partner's salary is not enough to use his alone as im the the biggest earner. I feel so crap I've put ourselves in this position that all I want to do is cry.
We going to have to move in with his parents but his parents haven't even offered that option to us,they just said we have to keep looking 😕 but the outcome will be pretty much the same due to me not having a job after mat leave.
I feel like a shit mother already and she's not even here yet 😢.

Aww dear!!! We were in a similar situation, I don't know if it's possible in there, but can you not try to counsil house?? xxx

We have got one in here it's a one bedroom house just now but they will put us to the 2 bedroom house once the baby arrives xxx

You could go down the homeless route cos you are having to leave your house through no fault of your own as well. They should find you temporary accommodation while assessing whether you qualify for a council house . This will also give you time to find rented accommodation if not .

as @emzyt said the council will prioritise u as no fault of ur own. been here 4 weeks back. yes u may have to stay in temp shared accomodation but be worth it and they will only have u in there 4 weeks max before finding u home. i wouldnt mention the offer of in laws though as u wont be classed as homeless. its not ideal but would all be sorted before little one arrives. xx
