that is true a doctor told me this when my son was in hospital also said aptimal causes constipation in some babies xx

i was lost for which to use. with my son it was sma and he was fine and went onto the sma hungrier baby then the growing up milk. no issues but now theres been loads of horror stories bout it so was googling and was toss up between the two and been deciding for over 2 months and wasnt untill heath visitor came and asked if there was anything at all she cud try and answer for me that we hadnt covered and i mentioned the milk powder and she got some cards out ect and showed me that the 2 most pop was cow and gate and aptimil and that they both had same ingredients ect just one was 3 quid more expensive.. but was the same. so went with cow and gate. ovado i got it all from. 4 tubs and then 5 packs of ready made to put in garage to store for when we are out and about so can just take a sterilised bottle. and then 3 packs of the ready made and sterilised for the hospital. 60 quid and got 20 quid free for other bits so got meat for freezer and that @catherineln25

howa ur ribs? mines ridiculous i knt cope. and to make matters worse ive torn muscle round side into back! i actually cant move. hate life right now. xx

I work for the coop so we get staff discount in the stores and it actually covers us for cow and gate formula so we get 20% off so I've been stocking up for a wee while. my ribs are hell... I've never ever felt pain like it, I can no longer drive or sit up for long periods of time. I've pulled all my muscles too I no how you feel babes. I spend all my time crying now a days my baba keeps moving more and more into my ribs and they have said they think my anxiety makes my pain worse and they won't induce me any earlier than 39 weeks! how are you feeling hunny? @tg123456789 xxx

yeah im same. tuesday i was actually screaming i thought something had broke. i couldnt move and was stuck on the bed my son (11) didnt know what to do. was awful. spent day and night in hosp before having to discharge myself as no1 for my boy and went back at 8am the following morning for scan on ribs and back they had booked and sure enough the muscles have stretched that much theyve torn so i am now just end of my tether. they said that we can look at inducing at 37 weeks if gets worse but im going to struggle on cause i know its not forever but i honestly knt cope. been off work all week and going back monday but the thought of sitting at desk from 8.00 to 17 30 is scaring me summert cronic! she is def my last baby. xxx

I didn't realise I had a message back my darling. it's not fair is it. my mum's gone out and bought me a big paddling pool and I have to lie down in that and it's the only way I get a slight bit of relief. I thought I was going into labour last night I had all the signs but it's settled down a little bit. how many weeks are you now sweetie? can you not go on maternity leave early? @tg123456789 xxxx

im 33 weeks and due 10th sept. i finish work 2nd sept but ive put two weeks hol in so finish 19th august at 37 weeks. its killing me. i love my job and feel shit leaving them in the shit as i have this week while been off.

i may invest in a pool!!! or rent a blow up lazyboy thing. im currently at hairdressers with bag on head just walking round the near street as knt sit. @catherineln25

i was thinking when there out will the pain just go? or will it still be there for week like bruising would be ect xxx

I've been told babes it could take up to 6 weeks for the pain to go however neurofen plus is the best thing for the pain and we will be able to take that once babies here. also baby won't he able to niggle under the ribs and move so that will mean the pain won't be so bad either. I was the same as you had to leave at 34 weeks I felt so so so bad but I just couldn't do it anymore @tg123456789 xxxx

I'm normally on a dose of 100mg of tramadol but I've been taking 50mg if the pains been too bad. my doctor in fact A LOT OF doctors told me id do baba more harm being stressed than having 50mg of tramadol. I'm in so much pain right now. have you got a ball babes? I lie on my side with a ball or something soft which opens my ribs up @tg123456789 xxx

i was told not to take tramadol :( @bl1995 the only think im taking is coedine and paracetomol. ive not got a ball yet do they help? i just lay on my right side and my hips hurt from it. i really am in a pickle haha. ive just stood and peeled 3 tatties and 2 swedes and am done! literally cud scream i just want it to go away and let me enjoy left of pregnancy. xxx

I've been told by quite a few people tramadol is safe to take babes. she's still moving round lots! the balls helping a lot yes it's encouraging her to move down and get from under my ribs! it was £7 from argos hunny.. honestly it's the best thing I've got so far @tg123456789 xxx

ive seen the one !! reserved it few times but never been to collect. ill have to get one tmoro and try that, just got into bed with heat packs and fan on... can see it been long night @catherineln25 xxx

I have some ice packs from amazon which are £2.50 each hunny they are thin enough to lie on and be comfortable. I found that helped. the ball has defiantly helped. that's how I stay comfortable through out the day and at night time otherwise I'd be screwed. the ice packs I couldn't sleep without them at all.. @tg123456789 xxxx
