Can someone tell me about endometriosis? I'm getting testing done for it and I just want more information on the symptoms and stuff.
I don't see why they wouldn't just preform the laparoscopic surgery because that way they'd see the problem and be able to fix t wether it by cysts or endometriosis. It's a simple outpatient surgery.
@babyjjsmommy, I got diagnosed with an ovarian cyst I'm having the worst cramps and stomach pains in the world. Before they do the surgery for the cyst they want to make sure I don't have endometriosis. But im in soooo much pain. I can't deal with it anymore
And once you have it like I did, the only way to prevent it is to not have a period. So birth control or pregnancy is your only options. I'm seriously dreading mine coming back, I'm 6m pp & still haven't had a period.
I had endometriosis for about 6 years undiagnosed. Kept getting diagnosed with having ovarian cysts, tilted uterus, pelvic congestive syndrome, etc. anyways I ended up having surgery last February where they went in and lasered off everything. I had over 60 ulcers on my ovaries. 100% sure that is what kept me from getting pregnant because I was on birth control when I did end up prego. Symptoms include very painful menstrual cycles and cramps that feel like contractions, irregular cycles, back pain, infertility, etc.
Really??? @babyjjsmommy no bed rest or anything after the surgery? My gyno doesn't specialize in endometriosis so He referred me to one that do and she doesn't have anything available until August 16th so hopefully she does the procedure the same day
