Hello ladies, I'm 38 weeks pregnant and I have this horrible dull back ache in my lower back and it's not going away it's just staying consistent. What could this mean? I have an appointment at 1130 today. It's very slowly wrapping around the front but most of the pain is in the back.

The baby could be laying on a nerve.

I've even gotten up and moved around and it's staying consistent. I haven't had back pain like this. @soldiersgirl0315

I had it for the last 2 months of my pregnancy. To the point I would cry. I would use a heating pad or take a hot shower.

That's how mine was. And my hips. The last month of my pregnancy was the worst.

Try getting on all fours kind of like a dog, let your stomach hang then rock back and fwd sometimes gravity and the movement will help move the baby off whatever's nerve or position it is in.

I had the same thing the other day consistent for a out 12 hrs. Went to L&D an all they called it was lumbar spasms from babygirls weight pressing down on the front an back. Lol it's rough. Try a heating pad & propping up against the wall or something with pillows or somewhere where your sitting kind of straight up. Helps a little @mellysmommy0805
