What do contractions actually feel like? I've been reading up on labour a lot but never describes the pain... 14 weeks to go and I'm getting nervous😁
No one explained to me just how painful contractions are so I won't sugar coat it. But In saying that my baby was posterior and my labour was 28 hours long but the contractions feel like the worst period pain you'll ever get, that then escalates to feeling like your body is being ripped apart inside ever minute. Very painful and you'll never want to do it again but after baby is born you won't remember the pain so much hehe. Don't want to scare you but no one told me and I wish I had been a bit more prepared for it. Plus you never know, they might not to be too bad, my mum says they were a lot worse with my sister than with me :)
And as cliche as it sounds don't be nervous 😜 labour is over before you know it, and the end result makes it all worth it!
@chelc, it's pretty hard to explain, the type of pain that takes your breath away. I wanted to pass out by the end of it but you can't do that either lol 😂
